This ice rink was opened with a big party in the Russian city of Tarko-Sale. It is the largest sports complex in that region and the ice rink has the dimensions of an Olympic size skating rink. The project was completed together with Astron's Builder Partner CS Investroy, based in Moscow. The client is the Avangard Hockey Academy, which has set itself the task of providing sports programmes for children and teenagers. More sports halls are to follow.

The ice rink has the grand total area of 9,000 m². The multifunctional building is divided into three sections. In the first section there is a multi-purpose sports hall with grandstands. In the centre there are changing rooms, an area where visitors can eat and drink, training and fitness rooms and conference rooms. The heart of the sports complex is the third section, the indoor ice rink. It is mainly used for hockey training, but the ice rink is also available for other winter sports or for the recreational activities of residents.
