The multi-storey office building Floralis is one of the first buildings to catch your eye on the motorway heading in the direction of Ghent. The construction was carried out by Ipes n.v. This company has been working together with Astron since 1974 and has already designed more than 20 buildings together with the architect Yvan Van Mossevelde.

The modular building Floralis features seven levels, has an underground car park and offers a total area of about 15,000 m². The main bearing structure is made of high-quality steel according to an Astron concept and the floors have been constructed in the slim-floor system. The aesthetically pleasing face of the building is a combination of glass and steel panels.

One of the businesses located in the multi-storey office building is the company Floralies of Ghent. This company organises the popular flower and plant exhibition Floralies that takes place every five years in Ghent.
