Astron always likes to rise to the challenge posed by a special construction design. In recent years, among other buildings, Astron designed individual building complexes for Südzucker and BASF as well as various aircraft halls.

Another special structure designed by Astron is a power plant in Rybinsk, Russia, which ensures that the residents of the Yaroslavl region are supplied with electricity and heat. Power outages are now a thing of the past thanks to the new power plant. The individually designed structure had to be planned and constructed to meet all the demands placed on such a complex project.

The main building of the power plant covers an area of 48 x 48 metres with a height varying between 14 and 21 metres. Despite the technically very complex and demanding task, it was completed in an assembly period of only 7 months using the Astron building system. The client was very happy with the short erection time and the perfect implementation of all the requirements as well as the low construction costs.
