The garden centre Trautz in Neustadt-Spreyerdorf can look back on a long and successful corporate history. The foundation stone of the family business was already laid back in 1929. Since then, demand for garden plants has increased considerably and several sites have already been built in Germany. Astron designed and delivered the exhibition hall for this garden centre as an AZM1 steel construction.

In an area of around 5,000 m², the garden centre has an office complex, a storage area and a covered sales area. The spacious exhibition hall has a length of approximately 60 metres and a width of 36 metres. Inside the hall there is a greenhouse and, due to the nearly column-free architecture, the exhibition area can be creatively and freely utilized. In order to provide a natural room climate and plenty of sunlight, transparent elements were incorporated into the roof. The entrance to the garden centre is a special highlight, consisting of a glass canopy on beautifully shaped pillars.
