Prefabricated Steel Building of Church
Prefabricated Steel Building of Church
An innovative place to meet
A church made of steel? Why not? In Bromley, England, Astron has proven that steel is a very versatile material. Not only can you build steel production halls, and multi-storey car parks, but it can also be successfully used for any other building types such as the Jubilee Centre. Just 5 months after starting the project, the new church opened its doors to its members. The prefabricated steel building that was erected by Building Partner Directline Construction, is roomy, light and people-friendly and completely fullfils the customer's expectations.
Initially, the church members planned to build a brick structure, but it soon became clear that they needed to find a more cost-effective solution. Astron was able to offer a design that not only kept within the limited budget, but also fulfilled all the church's wishes with respect to the optical look, the atmosphere and the functionality using prefabricated steel building solution.
