Optimisation of Transport of Buildings on Site
Achieving sustainable industrial buildings including the transportation aspect means achieving transport at the lowest environmental, social and economic costs possible, notably by providing more efficient and cleaner transport, rather than more road transport.
- Astron’s environmental objective is to lower energy consumption in transportation, to minimise shipping risks and to reduce damage during transportation.
- The aim is to also combine transport of material for the same project as effectively as possible: 1,000m² of the primary structure of an Astron building can be shipped on 1 truck.
- Distribution from our three manufacturing plants in Europe (Luxembourg, Czech Republic and Russia) helps to reduce the impact on the environment.
