Bottling Plant in Algeria

In a desolate area of Grande Kabylie, Algeria, on the foot of the Lalla Khadidja Mountain, the agro alimentary complex Cevital decided to build a bottling plant for mineral water. After previous dissatisfaction and with advice from another customer, Cevital turned to Astron for a 34,000 m² total project that has developed into a great success.

For this business building, sandwich panels have been used for the roof and walls and most noteworthy is its role as the first Astron building to use Lindab Doorline sectional doors. All primary and secondary construction was 100% pre-fabricated in a short production period in our plants in Europe and quickly shipped to Algeria. All erection work on the jobsite was run professionally with a team of experts for the building system and with the support of some local companies. Despite the constraining factors and challenging conditions in Algeria, the project of bottling plant was a great achievement.
