The city of Voiron, France, has decided to build an Astron Mobility multi-storey car park with 239 parking spaces for cars, as part of its project to pedestrianize and green the city center.

In an interview with Anthony Moreau, the Deputy in charge of Environment, Urban Planning, Construction, and Mobility, the Voiron city's vision for a state-of-the-art multi-storey car park comes into focus:
What are the main advantages of the future car park ?
The Astron mobility project is designed to harmoniously integrate into the development area while minimizing any potential disruptions for residents. To achieve this, the car park has been carefully constructed to minimize visual impact, noise pollution, and headlight glare from vehicles.
We also want an ecological work, the car park's footprint is as compact as possible, allowing new trees to be planted in the open ground and widening the public space.
What are the main objectives of the car park?
“Create new parking spaces, is essential to the success of our project to redevelop the city center. We want an ecological work, with a real landscape and vegetable integration. A real research work has been carried out with the City services to choose a harmonious plant palette, allowing flowering for a large part of the year, and the presence of leaves even in winter. On this project, we have gone into details and precision to improve our living environment!"
