Redefining Hospital Mobility
The Cavale Blanche hospital site in Brest, France, is about to inaugurate a new Astron Mobility multi-story car park.
Responding to the challenges of hospital mobility:
The hospital de la Cavale Blanche has launched a modernization program that includes new healthcare buildings and a multi-story car park with 1,500 parking lots. Astron Mobility's solution was chosen for its functionality, architectural flexibility, and ability to meet the specific needs of the hospital. With 16 meter clear spans, the parking structure offers easy access, comfortable parking spaces, and smooth traffic flow for all users.
Designed with the future in mind:
The Cavale Blanche multi-story car park, designed by the ABA Workshop and Opusia teams in collaboration with Astron Mobility, incorporates the latest advancements in accessibility and mobility. It was designed as a welcoming place, promoting calm and serenity for the hospital's staff and visitors. Photovoltaic panels and vegetated roofing surfaces emphasise the project's commitment to sustainable development and user well-being.
Towards smooth, efficient mobility:
The project also includes a plan for the pedestrian flow to facilitate the traffic between the hospital's areas. Major pedestrian axes, both inside and outside the parking, will provide easy connections to tram stops and access pathsthroughout the hospital.
Aesthetics for well-being:
The car park aesthetics have been designed to blend with the surroundings. Warm and complementary facade colors, slatted ventilation systems, and custom signage contribute to creating a welcoming and calming environment.
Optimized mobility:
