14,000 m² in Belarus
The grand opening of the new 14,000 m² KSK Stroymarket facilities recently took place in Gomel (Belarus).
In addition to a supermarket and shopping mall units, there is an insulated, unheated warehouse, a cold shed and a four-storey office block. The complete design, documentation and delivery of the buildings was carried out by Astron, who completed the construction in three stages.
As part of the second and third stages of the project, some areas of the buildings were already able to welcome customers during the construction period in 2021.
One of the most developed industrial roofing systems in the world, the LMR600, was chosen for ultimate weather tightness of the roof. For optimum thermal performance, the double-skin roof has a high insulation thickness. With this standing seam roof, there are no holes for rainwater and melting snow to penetrate inside the cladding. The roof is equipped with a large range of accessories from window openings, and doors to cantilever canopies and stair stringers. The buildings have an Astron outdoor drainage system, and the roof is equipped with platforms and skylights.
The individual architectural style of the building was determined by the site configuration and the customer's professional vision. Astron's steel solutions have been combined with bright orange brickwork and parapets to highlight the construction theme of the customer’s business.
