REQUIREMENT

Logistics hall for large quantities of goods, free spans and safe processes

DistriCash needed a high-performance logistics warehouse that could efficiently process large quantities of goods and provide structured support for the entire supply chain. The requirements included a free span for flexible warehouse organisation, a robust hall construction without intermediate supports and clear, ergonomic work processes with minimal accident risks. At the same time, the building had to ensure the safe storage of tyres and provide sufficient space for the administrative management of logistics processes.

In addition, compliance with French ICPE regulations, the installation of an automatic extinguishing system and modern safety and conveyor solutions were mandatory. The facility had to allow for long-term utilisation scenarios, be economical to operate and leave room for future adaptations - a complete, turnkey logistics building that combines efficiency, safety and flexibility in one solution.

RESULT

7,000 m² logistics warehouse with free 50 m span and high process reliability

Astron realised a 7,000 m² logistics warehouse with an integrated 400 m² office building in Berre l'Etang - turnkey and precisely tailored to DistriCash's requirements. The construction consists of three building sections: two warehouses and an administration building. The free 50 metre span without intermediate supports allows maximum flexibility in the internal layout and creates optimum conditions for clear logistics processes.

A trolley wire guidance system ensures fast, error-free material movements and supports the daily flow of goods. The automatic sprinkler system and the open hall geometry increase safety and noticeably reduce the risk of accidents. In addition, the modular areas offer options for subsequent conversions or extensions.

The result is a modern, economical and future-proof logistics centre that reliably processes high volumes of goods, optimises the process chain and enables low operating costs in the long term.
