REQUIREMENT

Bundle logistics, production and administration areas in an efficient building concept

Centrum Klima needed a logistics and industrial centre that would combine storage, production and administration in one location for the first time. The aim was to create a functional, energy-efficient and architecturally clear solution that offered free spans, flexible room layouts and ergonomic workstations. The logistics processes were to be accelerated by a precise storage system with five shelving levels and a  significantly optimised material flow.

In addition to efficiency, sustainability and future-proofing played a key role: high-performance roof and wall systems, high energy efficiency, robust steel structures and sufficient flexibility for future extensions. At the same time, the building had to visibly support Centrum Klima's brand identity and create modern working conditions for administration and production.

RESULT

Turnkey 8,500 m² logistics and industrial centre with a clear structure

A turnkey distribution centre with a total area of 8,500 m² was built in just six months, efficiently combining logistics, production and administration. The complex comprises a 5,000 m² logistics hall, a 3,500 m² production hall and a 1,930 m² office and social building with a conference area, canteen and modern changing rooms.

Free spans and a vertical storage system enable the efficient movement of large quantities of goods. Modern software solutions and structured racking technology ensure smooth processes while minimising risk.

For the building envelope, LPR1000 was used for the roof and LPA900 for the façade. Both systems stand for high thermal efficiency, impermeability and a minimalist, clear architecture. The result is a technically sophisticated, aesthetically refined and highly functional building - ideal for future-orientated supply chain management.
