REQUIREMENT

Riding hall with animal-friendly climate and large span

A new indoor riding hall was to be built for the Nové Zámky riding club, designed both for regular riding lessons and for competitions with large audiences. Large, column-free spans, sufficient room height and an indoor climate that protects both horse and rider were required. Lighting, ventilation and a non-slip floor structure were key requirements.

In addition, the facility had to be flexible and suitable for different disciplines such as dressage, show jumping, vaulting or lunging. Cost-effectiveness, durability and harmonious integration into the surroundings also played an important role.

RESULT

Spacious riding hall with efficient system construction

Astron realised one of the largest indoor riding arenas in the Czech Republic with 3,600 m² of usable space and a free span of 36 m - completely without disruptive supports. The AZM1 frame type and the LVP35/KS1000 and LPR1000 wall and roof systems ensure high stability and efficient construction processes.

Daylight entering via strip lighting, a sophisticated ventilation system and the specially designed floor create optimum training and competition conditions. The façade design in a wood look and stone-like decor blends the hall harmoniously into the landscape. The result is a durable, low-maintenance indoor riding arena, honoured as "Building of the Month", which combines function, design and economy.

BUILDING A RIDING HALL WITH SYSTEM

If you want to build a riding hall, you need large, column-free areas, an animal-friendly indoor climate and a robust building envelope. Astron uses system construction to develop riding halls that are precisely designed to meet these requirements - economical, durable and flexible in use.

Large spans without intermediate supports allow horses and riders to move freely. Sophisticated ventilation and lighting concepts support a healthy indoor climate, while durable materials and efficient roof and wall systems permanently reduce operating costs.

Whether training hall, competition hall or combined riding facility: Astron realises riding halls that can be adapted to different disciplines and guarantee safe and economical use in the long term.
