REQUIREMENT
Food-grade production area with clear processes and high efficiency
The Oettinger Brewery has been one of our regular customers for many years. Several construction projects with a total area of over 60,000 m² have already been realised together - clear evidence of long-term trust and reliable cooperation.
For the Oettingen site, the brewery needed a large-scale food production hall to modernise production, logistics and internal processes. The new structure was to offer an economical, hygienic and future-proof solution that would optimise both production requirements and logistical processes.
The requirement was for a hall with 8,500 m² floor space that efficiently combines storage, production and loading. In addition to hygienic surfaces and a clearly organised layout, the focus was on energy efficiency, low operating costs and flexible expansion options. The new solution also needed to be scalable to support the brewery's future growth.
RESULT
Efficient production and storage structure for food processing
Astron realised an 8,500 m² food production hall that combines all essential processes under one roof. The structure was designed in such a way that raw material storage, production areas and dispatch zones logically follow each other and ensure short distances. High-quality, hygienically suitable construction elements support the processing and storage of beverages under controlled conditions.
The modular steel construction allows for future extensions without interfering with ongoing operations. Energy-efficient roof and wall solutions reduce running costs and ensure a stable indoor climate. The result is a durable, functional and economical production hall that fulfils the requirements of the food industry and supports the Oettingen brewery in the long term.
BUILDING A PRODUCTION HALL – EFFICIENT SOLUTIONS FOR THE BEVERAGE INDUSTRY
Production halls for the food and beverage industry require high standards in hygiene, process reliability and material flow. A steel construction enables large, column-free production areas, clearly defined functional zones and the precise integration of technical equipment. Short construction times, high load reserves and a durable building envelope provide planning security and support cost-efficient operation over the entire life cycle. Steel production halls, therefore, offer a flexible and future-ready solution for industrial manufacturing processes with consistently high quality requirements.
