Service hall for Scania dealership
A new service hall was to be realised in Poland for the internationally active commercial vehicle manufacturer Scania. The aim was to create a building that combines functional efficiency with a prestigious appearance and meets the increasing demands of the service business. The hall had to be designed for different types of vehicles - from lorries and buses to motorhomes - and enable flexible, clearly structured processes in daily operations.
In addition, optimum working conditions for the employees as well as an integrated office and sales area were required in order to combine service, consulting and vehicle sales in a meaningful way. Durability, low operating costs and sustainable construction also played a key role.
RESULT
Modern service hall with integrated sales function
Astron realised a modern service hall with an area of 750 m² for the Scania dealership. The central element is the LMR600 roof system, a standing seam roof for industrial halls with a service life of over 40 years and a high level of protection against the effects of the weather. The spacious, column-free workshop areas enable efficient maintenance processes for different types of vehicles.
The hall is complemented by an adjoining office wing, which also serves as a sales area for new and used vehicles. The result is a multifunctional unit that combines service, consulting and sales in one building. The clear architectural concept supports efficient processes and ensures a professional, brand-appropriate appearance.
BUILDING A CAR DEALERSHIP - SERVICE, SALES AND EFFICIENCY IN ONE BUILDING
Building a car dealership means efficiently combining service areas, sales areas and administration. Astron develops steel car dealerships and service centres that are precisely tailored to the requirements of vehicle manufacturers and dealers. Flexible floor plans allow different types of vehicles to be serviced, while integrated office and sales areas create short distances and clear processes.
Durable roof and façade systems such as the LMR600 roof ensure high operational reliability and permanently low maintenance costs. Thanks to the modular design, car dealerships can be extended or adapted to new uses. This results in economical, brand-appropriate buildings that are functionally impressive and future-proof in the long term.
