Data center with precision, efficiency and clear structure
A modern data center was to be built in Bettembourg, meeting high requirements in terms of operational security, energy efficiency and technical precision. The aim was to create a high-performance infrastructure for cloud-based B2B and B2C applications with a clear separation of functions and short construction time.
A key criterion was the precise planning of all construction work in order to avoid collisions and ensure a smooth construction process. At the same time, the architecture was required to to provide functional advantages for building technology, cooling and maintenance and enable long-term stable utilisation.
RESULT
High-tech data center with modern architecture
Astron realised a 1,900 m² data center with a clearly structured layout. The building is divided into three functional areas: Data center, administration and technology. The multi-storey design enables optimum utilisation of space and significantly shortens internal logistics.
The entire planning was carried out three-dimensionally using BIM. This allowed potential conflicts to be identified and eliminated at an early stage. Precisely prefabricated steel components, a wooden slatted façade and precisely executed interfaces enabled rapid assembly without the need for adjustments on site. The result is a data center with high stability, efficient building technology and reliable operational continuity.
