Stronger cooperation with BIM
Building Information Modelling is the process of designing a building collaboratively using a coherent system of computer models rather than separate sets of drawings. Parties involved in the project execution exchange 3D-model based information with each other instead of 2D-drawings.
We are receiving more and more orders requiring BIM. As an example, Astron is designing, manufacturing and assembling the complete building structures of a 30,000 m² complex that consists of 20 single-storey and multi-storey buildings in Algeria. We could provide accurate and fast 3D- modelling environment. Each component in the model is tagged with its design or production readiness from design to completed installation.
For such complex projects, we could coordinate buildings to fit the design criteria and help identify areas which may require manipulation or re-design. This also provides the ability to verify interior conditions, such as equipment location and to coordinate with other disciplines to make the erection of the project more successful and less time intensive.
