Steel Solution for a car park
The consortium Nancy Construction, Archiclub, Arches Etudes and Astron Buildings has been selected for the design and construction of a multi-storey car park in the city center of Dreux (France).
Functional, aesthetic, ergonomic and secure, this new three-storey open-air car park, with 310 parking lots, also illustrates the development of the new business district. "We have chosen to create a building that connects the railway station to the business district," said Gérard Hamel, President of “Agglo du Pays de Dreux”.
An architectural and urban challenge.
The architect has designed a semi-glazed facade that functions as a filter for sound and sunlight, helping to create a comfortable environment. The choice of a steel structure, quite new in France, is a real advantage in terms of speed of construction. The three-storey car park is predestined to become the highlight of the new district!
