Let’s take this opportunity to look at the ten stadiums of the Euro 2024 with a focus on their steel construction.</p><p><strong># Allianz Arena – Munich </strong>(known as the Munich Football Arena during Euro 2024)<br> First, the Allianz Arena in Munich, venue for the opening game, is an architectural highlight with 48 steel beams and a steel net forming the structure with a total of 22,000 tons of steel. </p><p><strong># MHP Arena – Stuttgart </strong>(known as the Stuttgart Arena during Euro 2024)<br> Some matches will be held at Stuttgart's MHP Arena. The roof structure, expanded in 2011, now includes 2,700 tons of steel and 420 tons of steel cables supporting the polyester roof membrane.</p><p><strong># Deutsche Bank Park – Frankfurt </strong>(known as the Frankfurt Arena during Euro 2024)<br> Other matches take place at Frankfurt's Deutsche Bank Park.You will find the largest steel cable membrane inner roof in the world. This structure weighs over 2,500 tons and is supported by 44 main pillars, with more than 12,000 tons of steel used.</p><p><strong># Olympiastadion – Berlin</strong><br> Chosen for the grand finale of the 2024 Euro championship, Berlin's Olympiastadion won the German Steel Construction Award in 2004 for its impressive cantilever roof structure, supported by 20 delicate steel columns.</p><p><strong># Merkur Spiel Arena – Düsseldorf </strong>(known as the Düsseldorf Arena during Euro 2024)<br> Located near the company bauforumstahl, the Merkur Spiel Arena stands out with its retractable roof, supported by two 190-meter-long steel beams weighing 800 tons.</p><p><strong># Signal Iduna Park – Dortmund </strong>(known as the BVB Stadion Dortmund during Euro 2024)<br> Germany's largest stadium, Signal Iduna Park, will host six matches.
