New Astron Sports Complex in Bishkek
The grand opening ceremony of a new Astron sports complex, meeting the highest international standards, took place in October 2016, in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The project was realized by Magnit Asia, general contractor for the company Gazprom, under the program “Gazprom for Children”.
The new 5,000 m² sports facility has a daily visitor capacity of 500 people. It is intended for training and competitions in different kinds of sports: mini-football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis, boxing and wrestling. The grandstands can accommodate up to 750 spectators. There is also a gym and a training hall for martial arts. The new complex provides its visitors with sports equipment that meets all modern standards and requirements.
The facility can also serve as a venue for national and international competitions for many individual and team sports. All the facilities necessary for everyday training and special events are available here: a medical office with a treatment room, coaching and referee rooms, locker rooms, showers, a big cloakroom and a café for 50 visitors, etc.
