Multi Storey Car Park in Rodange
The Rodange multi-storey car park measures 33 x 38.5 m and is recognised for its vertical metal louvre façade, designed in a harmonious colour gradient. The aluminium L shaped profiles create a clean, fluid appearance while ensuring natural airflow across all levels. This open ventilation approach supports safety requirements and helps the car park blend into the park landscape next to it.
The car park provides 184 spaces on nine half levels, arranged between two stair cores, one of which includes an elevator.
The steel structure is based on a long-span system of 16 metres, allowing for completely column-free parking areas and ensuring clear, flexible circulation throughout the levels. The roof in trapezoidal sheeting is already prepared for a future photovoltaic installation.
Vertical louvres were selected as a practical, economical, and architectural façade solution. They are fixed directly to the rainwater gutter, avoiding the need for secondary steelwork and reducing material use. With flexible options in shape, colour, and orientation, the system creates a clear visual rhythm and ensures that the car park fits naturally into its surroundings.
