Located in Kockelscheuer on the outskirts of the capital, the former mine and explosive manufacturing site of the "Poudrerie de Luxembourg" has been redeveloped so as to house innovative businesses, particularly in the field of eco-technologies.
The Luxite One building has recently been completed by Astron Builder Mabilux, who also settled in on the same site few years ago. The Luxite One building will be the new home of some thirty companies. It can house around 200 people on a surface of more than 4,000 m², with 1,500 m² of halls and 1,200 m² of offices.
The initiative is also part of a series of incubators founded over the last few years in order to promote the creation of businesses. The building presents a striking yet harmonious combination of volumes on two levels with the use of overhangs a plus a special decorative effect on the wall cladding with a succession of horizontal and vertical wall panels fixed on polar panels for optimum insulation.
The building architecture is highlighted by the access ramp entirely made by Astron. All the expertise and know-how of the Astron team and Builder Mabilux were needed to design and construct this complex building.
