Warehouse in Poland: 32,000 m2 Ready for Future Challenges

6 MAY 2026

A large-scale warehouse center is currently being developed in Trąbki (Poland) for Zignago Vetro Polska S.A., setting new standards in efficiency and sustainability. Through a strategic partnership with Grupa Antczak and the implementation of Astron system solutions, the facility is being built to fully comply with 2026 energy standards.

Scalability and Integration with Production Infrastructure

The project in Trąbki is a major investment that impresses not only with its scale but also with its seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Spanning over 32,000 m2, the facility has been designed to provide a seamless connection with the investor’s existing production plant.

This multifunctional steel hall integrates three key operational areas:

  • Large-scale Warehouse: Optimized space tailored for demanding logistics and distribution processes.
  • Modern Sorting Facility: A dedicated operational section ensuring process continuity.
  • Staff and Technical Facilities: A comfortable workspace designed to accommodate 160 employees per shift.

The LMR600 Roof: A Solid Foundation for Photovoltaics

A defining feature of this project is its approach to energy efficiency. In an era of rising energy costs, it is essential to prepare for Renewable Energy Sources (RES) during the initial design phase.

The facility utilizes the LMR600 roof system, the most durable roof solutions in industrial construction. This guarantees safety and watertightness for the investor, eliminating the need for costly future structural reinforcements or modifications.

Expert Support in the Investment Process

The success of such a large-scale construction project depends on close cooperation between the Investor, the General Contractor, and the construction provider. We are proud that Zignago Vetro Polska S.A. and the General Contractor, Grupa Antczak, have chosen Astron pre-engineered steel structures.

Our approach is based on delivering solutions that not only meet today’s technical standards but are also ready for future market requirements, combining rapid assembly with maximum durability.

The investment in Trąbki is a good example of optimizing operational costs through sustainable roof design for RES installations and the efficient management of large-scale facilities.
