A new-generation data centre campus is currently taking shape in the Hesse region of Germany. Once completed, the facility will provide 81 MW of IT capacity across more than 25,000 m² of technical space, supporting the growing demand for reliable and sustainable digital infrastructure.
To meet the data center's demanding technical requirements, Astron is supplying a comprehensive range of steel solutions, including more than 4,000 tonnes of galvanized steel, approximately 20,000 m² of steel gratings, and 42 steel staircases. The use of galvanized steel ensures long-term durability and low maintenance, making it well suited to the high-performance environment of modern data centres.
With construction progressing steadily, the project demonstrates how tailored steel solutions help keep complex developments moving efficiently. The successful collaboration has also paved the way for two additional projects with the same customer, reflecting the confidence built throughout the partnership.
