Astron on Ice: Building a sustainable ice rink in Žamberk
The new ice rink in Žamberk, Czech Republic is now open! This state-of-the-art sports facility will serve the community for years to come!
The Žamberk ice rink is an example of how our steel buildings can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any sporting facility, offering a sustainable, energy-efficient solution. From the customized design to the turnkey construction, everything was built to fit the city of Žamberk specific needs:
# Barrier-free access for all visitors
# Tribune with 180 seats for spectators
# Energy-efficient technologies, including heat recovery systems
# Modern changing rooms, club facilities, and equipment for athletes and guests.
This project was designed by Astron partner AS PROJECT s.r.o., based in Pelhřimov, which was responsible for the design and project documentation
The energy-efficient technologies, combined with the spacious and accessible design, ensure that this rink will be a sustainable venue for years to come.
