A modern multi-storey car park with around 200 parking spaces has been built at the new DOQ 52 business campus in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Together with two office buildings, it forms the site’s transport infrastructure and ensures reliable access for staff, visitors and customers.
The project placed high demands on scheduling and the construction process. The multi-storey car park had to be seamlessly integrated into the overall campus schedule whilst also enabling the efficient use of the available space.
Thanks to its steel structure made up of prefabricated components, assembly could be precisely coordinated and carried out efficiently. The predictable construction process reduced constraints on site and supported the on-time completion of the overall project.
In addition to a durable load-bearing structure, the car park offers the necessary flexibility to meet future mobility requirements. Together with the approximately 6,700 m² of office space, this has created a future-proof solution for the new business campus.
