MORE THAN 60 YEARS OF INNOVATION

Astron is the expert for economical, flexible and sustainable hall construction.

BUILDING MEANS TRUST

Anyone who constructs a building is not just investing money - they are investing in the future of their company. This is exactly where Astron comes in: We support you from the initial idea to the turnkey hall - reliably, in partnership and with a clear goal: to make your project a success.

We have been developing customised hall solutions for over 60 years and have realised more than 58,000 buildings throughout Europe. Every single hall symbolises our conviction that construction projects do not have to be complicated, expensive and unpredictable. With Astron system construction, we rely on a solution that perfectly combines planning, production and assembly - for you this means: fixed costs, short construction times and a building that fits perfectly.

But Astron is more than just technology and steel. We see ourselves as a partner who listens, takes your ideas seriously and works with you to develop a solution that will last. We always think one step ahead: energy efficiency, low operating costs, flexibility for future extensions and sustainability through recyclable materials.

Our strength lies in the combination of experience and innovation. With over 150 engineers, our own production facilities and a Europe-wide network of certified partners, we are able to realise demanding projects on time and to the highest quality standards. At the same time, we remain close to our customers - whether they are small SMEs or international corporations.

Astron is part of Groupe Briand, an international group of companies with more than 3,000 employees. This strong basis gives us stability and security - and gives you the certainty of working with a reliable partner.

Our claim is simple: we don't build standard halls, we build solutions. Buildings that improve your processes, reduce your costs and secure your investment. Buildings that suit your company - today and tomorrow.

PHILOPSOPHY

What drives us

At Astron, we are convinced that an industrial building is more than just a shell - it is the basis for our customers' success. Our thoughts and actions are based on over 60 years of experience as the European market leader in hall construction and on our aspiration to actively shape the future of construction. We combine industrial precision with engineering expertise, innovation with responsibility and efficiency with sustainability. This is how we create solutions that are economically convincing and enduring in the long term - from the initial idea to the finished building.

VALUES

What we believe in

Our work is based on clear values: reliability, expertise, innovation and cooperation. We stand for quality, honour our promises and take a long-term view of projects right from the start. We combine technical expertise and decades of experience with an open mind for new solutions - efficient, sustainable and future-orientated. Our focus is always on mutual success: through trust, partnership-based cooperation and respect for people, materials and the environment. These values characterise our actions - in every plan, every project and every Astron building.

HISTORY

How it all began

Some stories begin with a vision - and with people who have the courage to try something new. Ours goes back to 1920, when the parent company "Commercial Shearing and Stamping" was founded in the USA - a pioneer in the processing of steel. Decades later, one of their prefabricated buildings came to Luxembourg. It was erected in record time in Diekirch in 1962 - a building that laid the foundation for Astron. The speed and efficiency of this new construction method were immediately convincing, and four dedicated pioneers recognised the opportunity: in 1965, they founded their own company to further develop this principle in Europe. This is how Astron was born - with the idea of building industrial buildings faster, lighter and more intelligently.

Pioneering spirit and new beginnings

From the very beginning, Astron focussed on industrial prefabrication and systematic construction - a completely new approach in European hall construction. Instead of relying on traditional construction methods, engineering expertise was combined with modular production. The idea: less material, more efficiency, shorter construction time. Hundreds of halls were built like this all over Europe in the first few years.

Growth throughout Europe

As demand increased, Astron developed from a niche supplier into the European market leader for steel system halls. Own production plants, local sales networks and a growing network of partners ensured quality and proximity to the customer. The halls became more versatile: storage, production, logistics, sports - each with a clear structure, technical precision and architectural freedom.

Technology and system thinking

Astron has always been a pioneer in technology. CAD-based planning, robotic welding and an end-to-end digital process combined design, production and assembly into an efficient system. The modular design with frames, roof and wall elements made it possible to realise individual solutions economically - a decisive advantage for building owners and planners.

Architecture and sustainability

With the growing focus on energy efficiency and design, the requirements for industrial buildings have also changed. Astron responded with further developed systems, sustainable materials and new building types. Steel became the carrier of modern architecture - durable, reusable and resource-saving.
