Multi-storey building - Design Build Multi-Storey Building - Office Building – Lorraine - France Novasep, the final customer, is a technology-driven company, providing global solutions for the large production scale of pharmaceutical ingredients. The company has already ordered a 2.900 m² three floor headquarters ASTRON building with a 1.400 m² production area in 2002. This time, the company needed a new building for its holding which is located on the same site in Pompey (F). Since the customer was very satisfied with execution and services for the previous buildings, there was no doubt to turn to Nancy Construction again, to architect Claude Schlegel and the ASTRON building system. This gorgeous 4 storey building of 933 m² ground surface impresses by its cleanness and plainness. Silver and glass are the striking façade elements: the very finely corrugated PFLAUM panels, fixed with hidden vertical joints plus the silicone glazed curtain wall elements form a smooth, monolithic, integrated whole. Despite extremely bad weather conditions, causing an interruption of one month, the complete building has been finished between October 2004 and June 2005, while pure erection was 1.5 months only.
