A family affair! In the 90’s, the Cornuaud brothers married the Rouzé sisters. This union created not only a very nice family but also gave birth to a company specialized in the design and distribution of womens’ "ready-to-wear" apparel. The enthusiasm and creativity of the family meant that, within less than ten years, their company had become a powerful and well known trade name. Wanting new premises to reflect the many attributes that had made the company successful - dynamism, seriousness and professionalism - this young family business called upon ASTRON for its new facilities in Toulouse (France).Builder AJ Construction, which enjoyed a deserved reputation in the region for expertise and professionalism, was able to meet the customer’s needs with a proposal for a 2.600 m² ASTRON Building. To be constructed on a turnkey basis, the building featured a 35 m clear span to allow the client full freedom to install automated warehousing and storage processes. It was complemented by a two-storey ASTRON Multi-Story Building for offices.The building’s architecture is a judicious compromise between the initial demands of the client and the requirements of the local planning regulations. To meet these two, often conflicting, requirements the office structure has been integrated into the main storage area and the two buildings are of identical height, something only made possible thanks to the INODEK system. The entrance is curved and entirely in glass, protected by a canopy; Sun shades are integrated into the façade which gives the building a pure and refined aspect reinforced by the white wall panels. AJ Construction paid meticulous attention to the quality of finishing, even down to the client’s logo made out of ceramics on the entrance floor.
