In August 2009 the first delivery of steel constructions for the project Court took place at the new Russian ASTRON plant of pre-fabricated steel buildings. Project Court is the first project produced by ASTRON Buildings company at the recently opened plant in Yaroslavl. The order was placed by Saint-Petersburg branch of the company MVK-Stroy, an authorized ASTRON Builder Partner. The project foresees construction of tennis court in Leningradskaya region. ASTRON Buildings company designs and produces pre-engineered steel buildings for more than 45 years and has 3 production centers – in Luxembourg, Czech Republic and now in Russia. The new Yaroslavl plant is currently producing several orders, including the one of construction Komatsu factory in Yaroslavl. With state-of-the-art equipment, new technologies and qualified personnel, the plant will occupy a leading position in the steel construction market in Russia. Today, with the delivery of the first order from the plant, the company celebrates a new step in its development. According to the project, building of the court is a square building with one span of 37.8 m, with an area of 1 555 sq. m and a wing unit. This is an AT building, specifically designed for tennis courts. The customer of the court is a private person, who plans to open here tennis courses and hold here competitions, of international rank as well. The court is located at village Korabselki in Leningradskaya region, where summer houses are being actively constructed. The court owner made a choice in favor of a European company because of several reasons – modern European quality of the building, competitive price, fast and accurate calculations of the price of the building before it was engineered. The customer was impressed by the experience of MVK-Stroy in construction of sport buildings – for example, this very company built indoor tennis courts with ASTRON technology for CSKA in Moscow. Peter Chayrev, ASTRON Regional Manager says that ASTRON steel sport complexes have a steady growing demand in Europe, including Russia and CIS. Many of these pre-fabricated buildings are multi-functional complexes, which hold not only sport events, but also exhibitions and concerts. It is not surprising, that the first order at the plant was a tennis court building. The building will be constructed by Saint-Petersburg branch of MVK-Stroy company. MVK-Stroy from Moscow is the biggest ASTRON Builder Partner in Russia. During 5 years of cooperation the company has constructed more than 110 000 sq. m of ASTRON buildings – a record mark. MVK-Stroy is a general construction company which specializes in construction of industrial buildings and erection of pre-fabricated, pre-engineered steel buildings. The company works on a turn-key construction basis. General Director of the company is Alexander Milchakov. Not long ago the company opened its branch in Saint Petersburg under the supervision of Alexey Galkin, which placed its first order at the new plant in Yaroslavl. Erection of constructions started 12 August and should be finished in October. Simple and
