Astron Climbs in Russia

The Russian city Dmitrov recently invested in top class Astron facilities for an “extreme” playground with skating ramps, climbing nets, trampolines and other wild activities for youngsters.

The atmosphere in “Xtreme Park”, with a capacity of 1.000 people is undeniably ideal for such creative sporting activities. Architecturally, the attraction of the building lies in details such as the curved parapet and canopy, curtain wall…. This design is furthermore accompanied by a symbiotic Truss system steel sculpture, framing the building’s entrance.
The contract for this 4.000 m² building was given to the Russian Builder  Casa International, who has also previously erected many other ASTRON buildings successfully. It is always fulfilling to recognise synergy effects between ASTRON, our builders and other companies in the Lindab group. This time the  ventilation system  was supplied by Lindab, a “cross dealing” that provided benefits for all parties.
