ASTRON - European news - 06 June 2007
Harmonisation between Single Storey and Multi Story BuildingsPrisma Bauelemente GmbH from Leinefelde, Germany has been a very successful ASTRON Builder for many years and continually prove themselves through their outstanding reference projects. Ten years ago, Prisma Bauelemente GmbH built the main office of the company ERKO Präzisions- und Steuerungstechnik GmbH, who specializes in the field of CNC – Computerized Numerical Control machines. On this occasion a single storey building SSB with a pumice concrete facade was erected. Soon, however, more space was needed and a second SSB was built to the left of the initial structure, followed by a building to the right. The land became strained and the present project on the green meadow was initiated. A 6,800m², three-module production building and a 500m² wing unit for deliveries was constructed. The roof includes numerous continuous skylights and bares large solar panels. The masterpiece of the ensemble, however, is a three-storey building that is 25m long, 18m wide and 10m high. This MSB has a negative roof slope of 6% with central valley gutter, a parapet on all sides and a roof extension. The building is provided with PR-roof panels and a high quality sandwich wall panel in the colour of white aluminium, architecturally stressed with gentian blue. |
