ASTRON - European news - 19 March 2007
New premises for "Martival Cuisines" by Curien"Martival Cuisines" is a daughter company of the Italian group SICC, a specialist manufacturer of kitchen furniture. Approximately 1.100 kitchen units will be manufactured per week in the 12.500 m² factory, of which Builder Curien constructed a 4.000 m² extension. The Builder proposed the ASTRON system in order to construct an efficient, cost-effective plant that met all the customer’s fiscal and operational requirements. The construction work demanded close co-operation between the Builder and the customer to ensure that the circulation of trucks delivering building materials to the site was not overly impeded while two mobile cranes were lifting the rafters of the warehouse and the office. The foundations of the warehouse are insulated while the office part is based on a traditional beam-column structure with a retaining wall. The architecture of the 740 m² office building is modern and striking. Clever use of colour enhances the facades. This <a href='http://www.astron-buildings.com/en/html/services/turnkey.html’>turnkey project, located at Le Thillot in France, offers the employees of Martival an open, spacious working environment. |
