A quality building for a top quality companyFamily company Kaempff-Kohler is well known and highly respected in Luxembourg as a supplier of "top-of-the-range" delicatessen and related foodstuffs to the catering industry. Restricted in its ability to expand due to a lack of space, the Kaempff family decided to build more spacious and modern facilities near to Luxembourg city. Wishing to have top quality premises that would encompass the latest technical demands of their industry, they awarded a contract to ASTRON Builder Scholtes & Brauch S.A. to build their new facility. Less than nine months later, the buildings are fully operational. The complex comprises a multi-storey building to the front, plus a single-storey workshop to the rear. A restaurant seating up to 150 people, a small bar with its own eating area, plus a food store for the sale of the company’s products are all located in the multi-storey section. Additionally, this part of the building also houses conference rooms, sanitary facilities, offices and a secretariat. Production of the company’s range of food products is carried out in the 2.000 m² building to the rear. The interior of this single-storey workshop is laid out so that the cold stores, freezing, preparation, conditioning and packing spaces operate with maximum efficiency. It was specially designed, equipped and built to meet the particularly stringent health and sanitation standards of the food industry. Overall, the architectural styling of the complex truly reflects the quality image of this exclusive and traditional delicatessen brand.
