GerimFirst is Builder Gerim Lille (France) who, for many years, has made working with key accounts a company priority. For more than twenty years, Gerim has constructed buildings for the Faurecia group, the second-largest automotive equipment supplier in Europe, not only in its native France but also in England, Poland and Germany. During this long co-operation, Gerim rightly acquired a good reputation for reliability and high quality workmanship that, in turn, turned the French Builder into a trusted construction partner for Faurecia. Gerim’s prior experience, its in-depth knowledge of the group’s processes and needs, a strict respect of prices and deadlines, as well as having a single contact person in charge of each project, were among the main benefits that convinced Faurecia to contract with the French Builder for their projects in Europe. The most recent building constructed is an R&D Center located at Hagenbach (Germany) specialized in the design and development of automobile instrumentation. Thanks to its know-how, Gerim was able to construct this 18.000 m² turnkey project in less than 9 months, with very tight control of costs and demonstrating considerable expertise in managing the vast differences in legislation between Germany and France (for example, in firewalls and the evacuation of water). Faurecia now has at its disposal a highly efficient, architecturally attractive building that allows the company to meet the demands for quality, safety and comfort of its customers and its 550 employees at this site who benefit from an ergonomic and functional working environment.
