Builder Noesen matches its customer’s needs in Belgium

MIW, a manufacturer of wheel rims and tailor-made tyres for agricultural machinery, decided to consolidate its production and distribution in Dendermonde (Belgium).

The company was created from the merger of two other companies; Molcon and Interwheels. MIW has always chosen steel for its buildings, now covering more than 10.000 m² in Belgium. The company frequently considers other materials, but the resistance, longevity and quality/price ratio of steel always tipped the balance. Noesen, an ASTRON Builder for more than 20 years, enjoys a deserved reputation for reliability, professionalism and the quality of its service. Between 1982 and 2001, eight buildings were constructed for this same customer. Fully satisfied with Noesen’s previous buildings, MIW naturally turned to this Builder for its most recent project. Knowing what was required and the customer’s particular demands, once again Noesen was able to offer an ideal solution, stressing the modularity (layouts) of the building and very rapid construction. The new building is both attractive and functional. The storage area of 6.145 m² is 8,05 m high and incorporates 6 loading docks while the 1.192 m² administrative part is distributed over three floors. There is a pleasing architectural combination of horizontal and vertical glazing plus a recessed glazed entrance set within a curtain wall, all contributing to a light and modern aspect.
