Lamborghini, the "taste for excellence" chooses ASTRONLamborghini, the legendary Italian manufacturer of prestigious sport cars, needed new premises to warehouse new models being manufactured at its plant of S. Agata Bolognese (Italy). Lamborghini, the legendary Italian manufacturer of prestigious sport cars, needed new premises to warehouse new models being manufactured at its plant of S. Agata Bolognese (Italy). For this 2.700 m² building Lamborghini contacted ASTRON Builder Ruggerini Pietro srl , a company known for its good reputation and numerous references in this area. The choice was for an "umbrella" building with a 34 m clear span and 6 m canopies in the sidewalls, a simple yet highly effective solution for this famous company which has made efficiency and time-saving keys to its success. Lamborghini has created a mythical brand thanks to its "avant garde" creativity and styling which is reflected in its black logo. Any red colour is strictly forbidden, even for the painting of the primary structure of the building…. this colour put in mind its historical rival, Ferrari! Lamborghini chose a hot-galvanized coating to protect the structure of the building exposed to the elements. The final coating will be applied next spring. |
