Astron- Industrial building – Poland – Steel Construction – Poland
Nr. 1 for Astron, Nr. 3 in Poland! This building, which has been realized by the building company PW M. Pasek Sp. j. for the Arcelor Poland Group has not only been ranked first in the Astron “Building of the Month” contest, but also third in the national Polish contest “Building of the year 2006”. The building, which is located in Rawa Mazowiecka in central Poland, consists of one AZM1 and 2 AZM1 halls and features 3 crane beams and 6 cranes with a total capacity of 80 tons. There are 70 employees working here producing polyurethane and polystyrene foamed sandwich panels. Both builder and customer had previously collaborated in 2004 with a project in Bytom, where Arcelor needed to extend their plant: the production hall had been erected by PW M. Pasek Sp. j. from the ground up, and the administrative building was completely renovated. Regarding the present project, an enlargement of the factory is already scheduled for 2008-2009 and at least one of the new steel halls will be an Astron building. |
