Astron- Industrial building – Poland – Steel Construction – Poland
Economic, aesthetic and functionalThe building’s plan area is an impressive 100m x 100m with a total volume of 700,000m³ and houses the production site of the furniture company, while the offices are located to the front. The building was conceived as an AZM4 hall with a span of 25 metres. For the wall, the very popular PA panel has been chosen while the roof is composed of a double skin material with additional peak skylights. The walls are insulated with 100mm ASTROTHERM while the roofs are insulated with 200mm ASTROTHERM layers. While the hall was built in a plain but functional style, the front building with the administrative facilities puts more emphasis on architecural features, such as the light yellow colour spot, and a generous use of glass provides additional aesthetic appeal. |
