ASTRON furthers medicine! This building with a surface area of 1,151m² is used as a production hall and offices; approximately 30 people are busy with manufacturing and distribution of surgical instruments. The use of a shed roof for this large building has turned out to be an elegant solution: the all over roof height can be reduced and less supports are needed. In addition, the vertical glass façade in the roof gallery guarantees harmonious lighting of the building’s interior. More technical Details: The surface area is 55m x 18m span, the interior wall cladding is an acoustic panel, while the building is covered with light concrete on its exterior. For the roof, a double skin DSR with 200mm ASTROTHERM insulation and 20% slope has been chosen.
