Astron- Industrial building – North Western France – Steel Construction – North Western France
Square – handy - super!Despite being nearly square with its measurements of 24 x 26 meters, this building does not look dull due mainly to Architect Max Ollivier creating an entrance area with an irregular triangle shape which features a sloping roof in addition to bright yellow frames; this livens up the otherwise plain building. These yellow accents are repeated in the framings of the shop windows on the other sides of the building as well as in the portholes of the front wall which have been installed to indicate that it’s all about water in this shop. For the big commercial lettering on the SINUTEC panels, a complementary blue color has been chosen. This building is an excellent example of how to make a plain building look interesting, just by adding some simple architectural features. |
