New premises for Transfret ASTRON Builder Arch’industrie won the Building of the Month contest for November with this 1 080 m² steel metal building with a curved roof that he built in France. For the company Transfret, quality performance and being close to the customer are the main objectives. That’s why, according to their company politics, they wanted new, modern premises. The Allonzier La Caille (France) based company turned to ASTRON Builder Arch’industrie for a building that would suit to its 4 professions: inter agency linked freight for Haute-Savoie, l ogistics for local distribution, truck cleaning and sales + installation of tires. This 1 080 m² building with 26 m span has a curved roof which is made with purlins fixed on the rafters by means of clips with variable height. The round form of the roof confers modernity and dynamism to the symmetrical and simple volume of the building. Thanks to the new, large and entirely planted premises, Transfret has won the award for ‘brand image’ 2005 !
