Borderless loyalty Not only has ASTRON Builder SC Gerrtrans Kovacs Constructii from Romania built his own company building in ASTRON but he incorporated a huge ASTRON Logo as building entrance : a quite evident proof of loyalty. This extraordinary entrance area has a depth of one meter in front of the building and has its own structure. The interior disposes of built-in wardrobes and showcases. The building is located in Lugoj, about 50 km east of Temesvar and is, of course, used as office building including premises for engineering and architecture. As a special highlight, the wall of the conference room is covered with original ASTRON metal sheeting in all available colours, assembled like a chequer. Many ASTRON parts such as screws, gutters and downspout are displayed in this rooms as well. The erection of the complete building was quick as usual: 2 weeks only for the basic ASTRON structure, 2 months for foundations and framings and 3 months all in all, interior finish and all the details included. To work out the construction details for this building, Mr. Kovacs, the owner of company SC Gerrtrans,turned to his own company architect. The basic idea of this extraordinary building shape though came from Mr. Kovacs wife !
