The first „Building of the Month“ in Switzerland! With his project for company CUREA Elektro AG, ASTRON-Builder HAFAG Hallen Factory AG, who has his headquarters in Wollerau close to Zürich, is the first Swiss winner of the ASTRON „Building of the Month“ contest. Together with the local building company HAFAG, CUREA Elektro AG, a company which deals with electrical appliances realized the project in a record time in this economically strong area of Switzerland. The representative headquarter building houses office rooms, a storage area, garages and workshops. The square ground plan is optimized by several technical and architectural refinements: the stair cage is conceived as a separate element, while the peripherical roof extension in combination with microlined Hoesch-Vario panels in RAL 9006 as well as openings, gutters and rakes in a powerful red (Traffic red in RAL 3020) guarantee an easy recognition of the building. The building still has more special features: Mezzanines as a combination of steel and pre-stressed hollow core elements, a traditional wooden floor installed on steel beams and a five-tonne crane have been integrated as well.
