FRAIKIN Group congratulates ASTRON Builder Nancy Construction A total of 25 employees work in the garages and offices of this new 1.455 m² building. The final bay incorporates a mezzanine, providing office space directly over the spacious, fully glazed entrance area. The PR ALUZINC roof, with a 6% slope, is hidden behind a peripheral parapet while the façades feature a combination of different sandwich panels. A large number of well-placed skylights in the roof peak ensure even, diffused natural light throughout the garages. The main reasons the customer decided to build with steel were the possibility of a later extension, the general flexibility and the speed of execution, as well as the aesthetic possibility to combine different wall panels in the façades. Additionally, ASTRON’s many certifications, as well as the well-finished details of the reference buildings, proved to be pivotal arguments. Not only the customer, but also the architect, was extremely satisfied with the erection, the overall quality of the building and the excellent details of the finishing. So it’s not surprising that Fraikin subsequently ordered 2 more buildings to be built with ASTRON and the same architect, this time being located in Amiens and Rouen.The initial building was finished well on time, despite the architect having expressed his doubts that the tight deadline could be met. This achievement was the subject of a special "congratulations" for Nancy Construction from the management of FRAIKIN at the inauguration ceremony.
