Baltic Sea Park "Kitchen Show" in Raisdorf This month's winner of ASTRON's "Building of the Month" is located in the very North of Germany. An 8.000 m² building for kitchen equipment company "Die Küchenshow im Ostseepark Raisdorf", it has a large product exhibition area as well as sales, administration and storage facilities. It was constructed by ASTRON Builder P&B Hallen- und Industriebauplanung GmbH.Matthias Pohns, owner of the building company P&B Hallen- und Industriebauplanung GmbH, designed, planned and worked out all the details of this showpiece for kitchens within 6 only months. The actual erection time for the building itself, which is part of the "Ostseepark Raisdorf", the biggest mall for specialised shopping close to Kiel in Germany, was only 2 months.The building has an overall mezzanine floor, resting on height-saving INODEK beams, thus providing two levels on which customers can look at the latest in kitchen equipment as well as getting advice from company specialists on how to design their kitchen. Bright blue window framing in the office and lower showcase areas combined with red frames in the entrance, welcome visitors to the complex. These colours were selected specially to mirror the company’s trademark and image. A recessed corner entrance with a luminous glass façade entices customers to enter the building.Building owner C. Appelt had previously been renting facilities but, with this striking and attractive building, he has made a dream come true. Thanks to its long experience in the steel building sector and the expertise of its highly qualified employees, ASTRON Builder P&B was able to create a building that matched the customer’s dreams.
