1.200 m² turnkey project built in only 4 months! The company BATISOL, located in Dunkerque, needed new premises to cope with an increase in business as well as providing much needed additional parking space for its customers. The location selected was Armboust Cappel, in the suburbs of Dunkerque, very close to a major highway intersection. BATISOL selected Devos & Ployart to construct the new building complex, containing showrooms, storage and office space. The company is well known in this region for industrial buildings and has numerous high quality reference buildings in the area. Devos & Ployart’s success in winning the contract was due, in part at least, to the very attractive architectural treatment proposed for the building : an entrance with horizontal panels framed by 2 vertical, perpendicular concrete walls followed by ASTRON PA panels. As the owner had already cancelled the rental contract for its existing premises, effective December 31st, 2002, Builder Devos & Ployart had to complete the turnkey contract for the new 1,200 m² complex within 4 months, included the offices. Mission possible : BATISOL moved in on time!
