Winning Buildings! Chocolate manufacturer Schaal recently sold a huge building plot, located in a key area close to Strasbourg (F), to the real-estate company S.C.I. Constellation. The objective was to develop a new Business Park “Porte du Sud�?. S.C.I. Constellation, responsible for the park planning and construction, selected ASTRON Builder Zimmer, which enjoys a good reputation for reliability and know-how, to construct the various buildings on the park. Sound choice! A complex of three buildings on the park has just won ASTRON’s "Building of the Month" competition for April, 2003. These office buildings, all with a similar architectural style, were constructed for their tenants: Chocolate Institut, Würth Industrie France and Facen. The buildings, including the interior layouts, sanitation facilities, etc, were customised by Builder Zimmer according to each client’s needs. They are characterised by sober and elegant lines. Each is 32,06 m long, 24,56 m span and has a built-up roof. Future buildings on this business park, to be constructed by Builder Zimmer, will offer good geographical location, flexibility (different size plots will be available) and good quality architecture.
