A steel building for Poland’s largest glass manufacturer The second ASTRON building constructed for Poland’s largest glass manufacturer, Sanglass, has been selected as Building of the Month for February 2003. Highly satisfied with its first ASTRON building, Sanglass naturally called upon the ASTRON process for essential new premises required to cope with the company’s rapid development. Builder Skalski, who has sold the highest number of ASTRON buildings in Poland, was responsible for the construction of this complex 7.320 m² production and 1.500 m² office facility. ASTRON's quality, competitive price and flexibility to optimise the interior of the building to best suit the needs of production and storage, plus the reputation of Builder Skalski for high quality work and its ability to execute a complete turnkey contract, were decisive factors for Sanglass. With a DSR double skin roof, a PA wall system and frameless glazings, the building is a striking architectural structure that is entirely in tone with the customer’s corporate image. Once more, an ASTRON building has successfully met Sanglass' needs.
