Astron building for a training center – Kent (Great-Britain) – Steel Construction – turnkey training center - Kent (Great-Britain)
Mixing curves and slopes in a training centerIn the small town of Folkestone in Kent (GB), college students are now able to train in ideal conditions in this attractive and creative training center. This 970 m² ASTRON building features an attractive combination of a traditional low pitch roof with a curved roof. The building contains a training center, changing rooms, and a mezzanine floor constructed with Z profiles and surfaced with a wooden floor. The building was erected in two phases over an existing building without interrupting the activities within the existing part. Once the new building was completed, the old building was demolished. This unusual but highly attractive building was completed on a turnkey basis by ASTRON Builder MTS Structures. It certainly represents a fine "calling card" for this highly experienced ASTRON Builder, and has already resulted in other orders of the same kind. |
